HOME BUILDING PROCESS

The factory production process combines the benefits of assembly line efficiencies with protection from the elements, resulting in reduced labor costs and enhanced quality:

• Floors and ceilings are constructed using jigs on flat platforms, then hoisted into position on traveling platforms using overhead cranes.
• The home passes through several stations, where craftsmen trained in that particular specialty completes each portion of the construction process.
• Materials are stockpiled near each station.
• Specialized tools and equipment that would be impractical to bring to an individual job site are employed at each station.
